Stand With the Women of Ukraine on International Women's Day
This sweet family grabs a bundle of goods for their little one who will be arriving soon.
Since the February 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Ukrainian mothers have been doing all they can to keep their families safe. Many women have fled to western parts of Ukraine with their children, seeking safer areas to avoid Russian troops and heavy violence. These brave women are traveling great distances to keep their families out of harm's way, leaving all possessions behind. There are mothers who have stayed back with their kids to help take care of elderly relatives who can't move or to be closer to the men they love, who are fighting in this horrible war. There are mothers sleeping with their young ones in bomb shelters with just the clothes on their back. These are just a few of the struggles these women are facing.
It is often forgotten how hard it can be to get normal supplies during times of war. Things like formula for infants, bottles, diapers and other essentials that mothers and young children need are hard to find or very expensive.

You can help by sending a Ukrainian Mother and Infant Care Package! When you purchase a care package we will send two 100% cotton blankets to keep a child warm. These blankets offer not only warmth but comfort. Made in Ukraine they support Ukrainian business and employ locals who manufacture them. When you purchase a kit, you are also helping fund supplies such as bottles, formula, diapers, wipes and other essentials. Organizations working with GreaterGood will let us know what supplies they are in desperate need of - and that's what will be funded!
A majority of these supplies will be given out at maternity hospitals and orphanages across Ukraine. Another large portion of these supplies will be given to mothers near in Eastern Ukraine and in GreaterGood's supply distribution events throughout Ukraine.
These supplies are a huge blessing to those who had to leave possessions behind, who had all their belongings destroyed, or simply cannot find what they need to provide for their little ones.
Stand with these mothers by sending Ukrainian Mother & Infant Care Packages.
